I was born under a Coolibah tree when the moon was in the
seventh plane and the Age of Aquarius was just beginning to
dawn. After spending 17 winters as a snowperson, I decided
to audition for the role of Maria in The Sound of Music.
Sadly, though, this was not to be and instead I was cast as
Toto in The Wizard of Oz.
Seriously, though, I was born and raised in Scotland, or,
as we like to call it, God's Ain Country. I spent an
excessively long time at The University of Edinburgh
collecting letters to put after my name and developing the
art of academic suicide. After finally acquiring the the
letters BSc and MA (Hons), I decide it was time for some
adventure and excitement and set sail for the far shores of
Canada. The original plan was to spend four months in
Toronto, four months in Nova Scotia, four months in BC
before flying back to the UK from Vancouver so I could work
hard for a year to save enough money for a year in New
Zealand and then six months travelling around the world.
Somehow, I managed to get stuck at the Toronto stage.
